Oktapodi is about a love story of two octopuses that were for sale at the fish shop who were both in love. Yes Octopuses! They were separated as the female was taken out to be sold and the male gets out of the aquarium to save the love of his life. They then fought for their lives to get back together again. Will they succeed?
Oktapodi is a 2007 French computer-animated short film which was a graduation film created at Gobelins L'ecole de L'image. It was directed by 6 of them. It didn't lose your attention as it was definitely entertaining throughout the 2 minutes. It was humorous, short and sweet. It is a unique and no ordinary film. Everyone should watch it and I would be sure you would like it!
There really isn't a bad thing to say about this movie as I think it was a pretty good short animation film. Oktapodi was well received and won a number awards including a nomination for Best Short Film (Animated) for the 81st Academy Awards.
