As we entered the store, we were greeted with a warm presence and were asked whether he could assist us in anything. The store was very homey, tones of browns and oranges were painted on the walls which created a somewhat classical theme.
The store not only sold pastries, chocolate cookies and chocolates, but also colourful candies as well to their chocolate themed store. Famous Amos had been around for quite some time and I now understand why. Their bake goods are ‘sinfully’ delicious but at the same time, you get your money’s worth and it fills your tummy.
I had the Blueberry Muffin which was really, really good. I don’t really fancy muffins but its appearance to me, when I was at the store, was very appealing. It was practically Golden Brown in colours with visible Blueberries. The moment I put in into my mouth, it just melted in my mouth. That was how soft the batter was! It tasted really good! It was crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. And for RM 4.50 for a muffin that good, I’d say it’s a steal! And this is coming from a person that doesn’t fancy muffins.
So, in conclusion, I definitely recommend going to this place for a quick treat or bite. But if you’re looking for a complete meal, then this place is not for you. But if you’re looking for a quick treat or bite and wants it to be filling, then yes, yes, and yes, please check this place out! No regrets whatsoever! And just to mention, just like its name, it’s already ‘famous’ and they have chains all over. Try going to the one at Jaya One, Section 13.
