Friendship (Part 3)
by Cayman Yong

Aloha dear readers! We have finally reached the third and final series of Friendship. I do hope that you have learned something and benefit from the teachings. Though it’s just a 3 weeks of teachings, I do hope that the teachings do help you to build your friendship with one another stronger and solid than before.

For this week, I will be teaching you on how to keep the friendship long-lasting. To everyone including myself, friendship is important. Therefore, I believe that everyone would want to have a long-lasting friendship. Thus, that is why I am here today – to teach you on how to keep the friendship long-lasting!

Let me guess, you still need the pointers of last week Part 2? Don’t worry! Here are the pointers!

#1 Calm yourself down.
#2 Analyze the situation
#3 Find the solution
#4 Be the first to apologize

Now, it’s time for us to proceed with Part 3! There is no time to waste as I know you are eager to read it. *winks* Here, I bring to you 5 tips for long-lasting friendship.

Part 3 : How To Keep The Friendship Long-lasting?

#1 Trust. Trust is important. Without trust, the relationship is nothing.  Trust is about creating a bond between you two. In every relationship, both friendship or romantic relationship, trust is the essential and foundation to keep the relationship keeps growing and running.

#2 Communication. Communication is important! The idea of communication grasps the greatest way that helps to create a meaningful, stronger, deep and long-lasting relationship that withstands trials, misunderstandings and hurts. Communicate with your friend! The communication between you and your friend must not be lost.

#3 Offer to help. A friend in need is a friend indeed! Those who helped us when we are in need are remembered forever. Find the opportunity to help your friend whenever s/he is in need, and always do your best! Never do it half heart, but with full heart and with love as you won’t want someone to treat you the same way as you treat others, right?

#4 Hobbies. It is important to nurture hobbies, not for your mental health, but a way to grow the friendship. Try to have at least one hobby that you and your friend both enjoy doing as it helps to bring the relationship closer and tighter too. Do have the hobby activity done weekly, not just once!

#5 Remember birthday. It is not hard to remember your friend’s birthday. Remembering your friend’s birthday tells your friend that you care and love him/her always.  Just keep a digital reminder of your friend’s birthday. When it beeps on the birthday, you will know what to do – wish him/her and celebrate! It’s that easy!

Friends are easy to find, but to find a true friend and have a long-lasting friendship is hard. Don’t rush over friendship, but take time to understand one another better. Never let anything destroy the friendship when you and your friend are building it.

Wow! We have reached the end! It was a pleasant time writing for you. I do hope it has blessed you as it has blessed me too as I write. Next week, I will be talking something new. Stay tuned!

Toodles!

Signing off now,
Yours truly (Cayman).
