What is the definition of gay by the nation? Homosexual men have been underrated by everyone as weak and trouble. This can be seen by US General Sheehan as he blamed the gay soldiers in the army for being unable to stop the Srebrenica massacre that occurred in 1995, that involved an over run of Bosnian soldiers that killed 8000 Muslim men and boys. He also mentioned how the Dutch put the blame of the Bosnian massacre on the gay men.
From then, it has been questioned on the issue of gay men joining an army. What is the issue of homosexual men? Why are they labeled as negativity in society? It took General Sheehan 15 years to realize his mistake on blaming the homosexual men and to apologize publicly. Now the big question, is it right for leader’s of a nation to discriminate sexuality publicly?
Homosexuality is not wrong nor is it a bad thing. Most gay men are known for their strength in many different ways. Gay men are also gym trainers. Hence, it is not proper for anyone to just plainly point fingers and judge gay men as weak or a pest in society. Gay men are as equal as any man or woman in society. What differences are there in them?
They have two eyes, one nose and one mouth. They love as much as you do. Take a time to think twice before making an assumption of a person especially when public sharing of the opinion is in order. Look outside the other closed windows and not just then one opened widely.
