Have you ever thought of being mute just for one day?, I tried being mute for just 20 minutes and boy it was pretty tough for me. Ishnee had to be blind and I had to be mute for 20 minutes and it was a really hard activity as I cant speak to her yet I had to escort her around without saying a single word!. Ishnee came up with an idea that every time she asks me a question, I would pinch her if it’s a yes. So I continued my journey being mute, a few people were asking what the hell was wrong with me, and what do I do to respond? Sign language! Though I don’t know any sign language, I took an effort to try but it only ended up making the other party asking twice of what he had to say. I had a problem guiding Ishnee getting up and coming down stairs therefore everytime a step comes I pinch her but she found it annoying cause I might have pinched her a little hard a few times. Thank God Carleen who was playing deaf helped me guide Ishnee as she could speak. Based on my experience, I suggest you try this activity for yourself and feel how it is to be either deaf, mute, or blind.
