Thought that being a blind can’t be any worse? It works the same for a deaf. I guess it’s a norm to lose your voice giving your blind friend or partner directions and whatever he needs to know.
Nicole was already a clown as she took her first step out. She kept swinging her hands wildly when light movements were required. Hence, she hurt herself so much from hitting walls, pillars, poles, staircase or chairs constantly.
I could see that it wasn’t easy for a blind to cross road even if they had a walking stick. Nicole didn’t have any this time. I thank the considerate driver for allowing us taking our own time for a supposedly fake blind to cross a small zebra crossing.
Fortunately, we had Inessa the mute as Nicole’s assistant. She was pretty much exhausted as I was to assist Nicole and preventing her from getting into trouble and accidents. For what’s lucky and good, we returned to class safely.
Kaze !
