The cops are going to lose many of the people’s trust after the incident where a soon to be wedded cop shot his fiancé at the chest and wrist. The fiancé, Prema and her brother, Devaran who happened to be present during the incident were both admitted into a hospital. It was said that the cop and his girlfriend were going through heated arguments before he decided to use his gun. This misuse of power will probably stir chaos within the community causing them to lose trust on the Malaysian police. As a police officer, he should not have used violence to solve his problems. A gun was entrusted to him to use it for protection. It was given to him to use it when there is a necessity to save lives. Instead, he used it to hurt the one he loves due to personal matters. It was said that he was about to drink poison after realizing his deed which makes him seems as an emotional man who is not capable of coping with his emotion that makes us wonder. Does the Malaysian policemen get tested to see weather they are mentally and emotionally capable of dealing with issues in their personal life and issues of the world.
